VT and existing damage - will they bill me?

I am thinking of using voluntary termination to get out of a PCP that still has a couple of years to run. On my rough maths I am just about at the half-way point now.
The car has a small scrape on the rear bumper from a low speed knock that I never bothered to repair. When it comes to VT, are they likely to treat that as chargeable damage, or do they tend to be realistic about older cosmetic issues?
